1987:
CMG celebrates its 25th silver anniversary with a National Meeting themed FUTUREfest: a glimpse into the future of color, fashion, retail, architecture, leisure time, and lifestyles envisioned for the year 2012. A speaker from McDonnell Douglas spoke about the future of civilian space travel, and the implications for color in space. Another speaker demystified futurism by outlining the basic components of a futures framework, and how it can help organizations thrive, not just survive during times of change. Workshops pondered how we will bring our goods to market in the future.
Now, thirty-five years later, CMG is celebrating our 60th Diamond Anniversary with COLOR BEYOND, an exploration of color now, and beyond at the annual International Summit held November 10-12, in Tucson, Arizona. Not only will there be inspirational speakers and thought-provoking workshop sessions, but also a presentation of “The CMG Color Story Evolution,” an examination of 60 years of color forecasting.
