As the process of forecasting evolves, Color Marketing Group® members are increasingly identifying the need to acknowledge the relationship between color, materials and finish (CMF).
We have adapted our Forecasting Process to integrate these critical elements.
This enhanced approach ensures that our forecasts are not only forward-thinking but also fully aligned with industry trends and consumer demands.
Our enhanced Forecasting Process incorporates two Workshop areas:
Future Thinking™ Workshops are multi-industry discussions where participants forecast a range of Macro Trends for 2+ years forward and lay the groundwork for our ChromaZone® Color Stories.
ChromaZone® Workshops are collaborative events held in four Global Regions, providing a diverse outlook on color, material and finish trends. By focusing on trend identification and storytelling, ChromaZone® Workshops provide valuable color intelligence for product development and marketing strategies.
The final results of the ChromaZone workshops are steered by a volunteer committee in each Region into the 4-part World Color Forecast™, consisting of up to 12 Color Stories and 64 colors, that is presented each year at the CMG VIrtual Summit Reveal. The information is then further distilled by CMG Member color professionals to apply to their industry.
