Judith was born in 1981 in the Dutch countryside and moved to The Hague at 17 for her studies. At 28, she fulfilled a lifelong dream by moving to Milan, where she remains deeply involved in the city's vibrant design scene while traveling between Madrid and Italy.

Her career in color began as a Product Planning Specialist at Kawasaki Motors, where she was the only European and woman on the Japan-based design team. She later became Senior Color Designer at Avient ColorWorks, focusing on sustainable polymer-based colorants, and served as Creative Director of ColorForward, a global color forecasting guide.

Now, as founder of The Color Authority, Judith leads her own color intelligence firm and serves as vice president of membership for the Color Marketing Group, where she has held various leadership roles over 10 years.
