1998:
Embracing the technology available at the time, CMG offers audio cassette tapes of its design trends to its members. For $15, the tape provided information on trends applicable for the end of the millennium, with ideas around how to interpret design trends, generate exciting ideas, refine product lines and create new best sellers. In 1999, the multimedia concept was expanded to a “Color Sells” VHS video tape that explained the CMG color forecasting process and explored the critical role color plays in a product’s success. The video was intended to help CMG members communicate the value of their membership in the organization to their company’s cross-functional teams and management.
Technology has changed, and now CMG shares all of its
ColorSpeak™ and
ColorChat™ recordings with our members. Full and Company members also receive the trend videos of our World Color Forecast™. For more information on how to access the videos on CMG’s
