NEW to this year’s International Summit, CMG’s Trend Spotting seminar on Saturday, November 16th, is for color design professionals who may be new to trend spotting; who need to further understand how to spot upcoming trends; or non-color related professionals who regularly interact with color design professionals.
Presented by CMG member, Doty Horn, this trend spotting seminar will answer the “why” of color and design. It will analyze multiple industries to find the common threads that define color and design stories, and increase your awareness of past trend waves in order to anticipate future trends. About the Presenter
Doty Horn is the Senior Vice President of Design at Congoleum Corporation, a leading flooring manufacturer in North America since mid-2012 and is the Founding Director of ColorVoyant, a visionary color marketing firm formed in early 2011. With an expansive cross-current background in the interior and fashion industries as well as product development for companies such as Armstrong, Formica, Cole of California, and FIDM (Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising), Doty brings a unique perspective to the color and design field.
